*FREE EXFOLIATING AROMATHERAPY BACK TREATMENT

This time of year we love to offer our new customers a free gift of TLC – our exfoliating, aromatherapy back treatment. This is a deeply relaxing and health-promoting treatment for the back done as part of our one-hour or 90-minute massages.

We start with a top-flight relaxing aromatherapy applied to tense muscles between the shoulder blades. These essential oils are specially blended to release tension along the spine. As we do the back massage, we add another aromatic-blended massage oil that promotes the flow of lymph fluid and drains toxins from overworked muscles in the back and neck.

As we wrap up your back massage, we use an exfoliating lotion that gently opens and cleans the pores and skin. Warm steamed towels are used to remove the exfoliation lotion, followed by a light buffing with a dry towel. Then we use a toner lotion to close pores and soothe the skin. Then we apply a hydrating lotion which adds water to the skin without using oil. We’ve always loved this hydrator because it leaves skin feeling toned, fresh and not greasy. At the end of your massage, we use a minty essential oil blend to rouse you from your waking slumber.

Usually spas charge $30 to $80 for this kind of treatment in addition to the cost of their massage. But because we are an independent massage center, we can offer this Excellent Summer Spa Special free to first-time customers who try our $70 one-hour massage or our 90-minute massage for $100. If you like the exfoliating back treatment, and we know you will, you can add this treatment to any one-hour or longer massage for only $15.
